The Terrace

A logo sublimitated onto a sports shirt as both the manufacturer's mark and the sponsor.


Rooted in U.K. football fan culture, The Terrace have grown in just a few years into a brand with multiple kit sponsorships and licensed merchandise agreements: from the National League to the Premier League; around the U.K. and Ireland; and spanning multiple sports. Early into this journey in 2019, I was contacted to create their new logo. It needed to be distinct, recognisable and flexible to help establish The Terrace's brand across a range of merchandise, but without appearing to show favour to any club or overshadowing the fan-inspired artwork that drives what the company is all about. The final mark literally roots The Terrace in football, adding dynamism through italics and implied movement.
